Hello, my name is Jesper Skoyen. My steer was born May 1 2024 to a commercial black heifer and is almost pure angus as his Dad is ‘Jumpstart’, a red angus bull I selected semen on to AI some of our heifers. I named him ‘Cash’. He eats well and has been getting 20lbs of finisher ration a day along with mixed hay. He tends to play in the water trough and almost always is there to get a drink from the hose when the water is turned on. He most recently weight taped at 1100lbs and has a fleshy finish currently. I hope he can put on a little more weight before the sale. I’d like to thank last year’s buyer of my calf ‘SirLoin’, Fountain Tire in Spirit River and hope that there is a good turnout for Achievement Day this year.
