My name’s Nora and this is my 7th year in 4-H. My steer this year is named Dimple—he’s a Speckle Park/Angus cross and was born on May 3rd, 2024. He’s honestly been such a good boy and super easy to work with. Every time I go to feed him, he just stands there waiting for scratches—he loves it! Dimple is my 6th steer. When I first started 4-H, my project was a market lamb, so I’ve definitely come a long way. This year I really wanted to focus on getting better at grooming, and I feel like I’ve improved a lot, which is exciting!
