My name is Clem Hotte and I am 13 years old.  I like helping my Dad on the farm, especially with calving and harvest.  This is my fifth year in 4-H and my fourth year with a steer.  My steer’s name is Harold and he is a Purebred Polled Hereford from Spring Mountain Stock Farm, ran by my Great Aunt & Uncle.  Harold is very friendly and nice to work with and lead. He is eating 22 lbs of homemade mixed hammered barley and Timothy straw ration.  My favourite part of 4-H is showing my calf at the end of the year.
