My name is Otto Fitzpatrick. I am 15 and this is my seventh year in 4-H.My steer this year is named Pickle Rick. My calf is a twin from our own herd and I picked him because of his incredible growth. He has a large frame and is packing on the pounds to fill out for Achievement Day. He is a Red Simmental cross. He is currently eating 22 pounds a day of Keddies Finisher ration (a mix of mostly barley, some oats, and beef protein supplement with rumensen) and free choice brome/timothy hay. I enjoy 4-H because I meet lots of people and get to go to fun events like skiing and camps. I would like to thank my steer buyer last year, Gerry’s Well Services.
