Hello! My name is Owen Yuha. I am 13 years old and this is my fifth year in 4-H. I once again have a market steer project. My steer’s name is Jimmy and he is a Red Angus/Simmental cross. I’m feeding him barley with Rumensin, and free choice brome alfalfa hay. Jimmy is growing well. I picked Jimmy from my Uncle James’s herd because he looked to be a good 4-H project. I like 4-H because I like to go to club events like the Christmas Party and beef related tours. I also like working with my calf. I love helping on the farm, especially during calving season, branding, and driving the cows to the community pasture. I also like to play hockey, baseball and school band.
