Hello! My name is Owen Yuha. I am 12 years old and this is my fourth year in 4-H. I have a market steer project. My steer’s name is Bob and he is a Red Angus/Simmental cross. I’m feeding him barley with Rumensin, and free choice brome alfalfa hay. Bob is growing well. I picked Bob from my Grandpa’s herd because he was calm and quieter than the other calf. I like 4-H because I like to go to club events. I also like working with my calf. I love helping on the farm, especially during calving season, branding, and driving the cows to the community pasture. I also like to play hockey and baseball. I am in band this year and I am looking forward to the band trip to Calgary.
